TEK goes up in flames

Posted by The Doctor on 16:14, 4/1/2003 | ,

Yes, the new PYRO update for TEK 1608 (one of the best games on our beloved platform) is upon us.

Adding such features as;

  • An enhanced weapons system with rockets and lasers
  • Improved AI (artificial intellegance)
  • A new smoother 'Fog of war'
The Wayfinder has also been rewritten from scratch and also stability has been improved.
All of this is available free from the Artex websiteThere's also mention of a Demo being made available in the next few days and of course Acorn Arcade will let you all know exactly when.Have fun.

Unregistered user I can't seem to get a good screenshot of TEK.
