Legal dispute ceases sales of A6 and A75

Posted by Andrew Duffell on 10:08, 15/6/2004 | , ,

Stuart Tyrrell Developments have told all their customers that orders for the A6 and A75 ranges of RISC OS computers have ceased due to a legal dispute between two un-named third parties.
"OEM customers will be contacted shortly regarding action for losses which might be taken on their behalf."
Stuart, and most of RISC OS users hope that the issue can be resolved in a timescale that allows Stuart to continue to promote RISC OS.
The A6 computer is a PC that emulates a 26bit version of RISC OS, and the A75 is a ARM7500 based RISC OS machine running a 26bit version of RISC OS, and is aimed at the business market as a "problem solver".

Castle have had since the 26th May - very nearly 1 month - to sort this out. AFAIK their legal letter forcing STD and other developers to cease trading has not been lifted. I don't know a business that can go for a month without income from its major products.
